SPEAK TO Greatdunmowdog trainer TODAY
GREATDUNMOWDOG TRAINER is a professional dog training company, designed by some of Essex and London’s most passionate dog trainers. Having experienced many of the most demanding and complicated cases, we are confident in both the practical and theoretical skills required to train anything thrown our way. The founders of DG Dog Trainer decided to develop this company as a way of helping the nation combat their poorly behaved dogs, in a fun, friendly and practical manner. The ethics of K9 Icons are built around getting the job done; while encouraging owners to understand their dogs in a positive and engaging way, working to build strong, successful relationships – creating harmony in homes. Dogs are what we know, dogs are what we love.
RESIDENTIAL
There are many reasons to consider a residential dog training course with the GD Dog Trainer. Particularly as it gives your dog excellent help and support, from an award-winning dog behaviourist. Some owners book residential stays to fast-track puppy training. Others realise it is the best way to tackle complex behavioural issues in dogs. Sometimes, dog owners who are busy book residential dog training for convenience and speed in teaching their beloved pet new skills! Our residential courses to train guard dogs or dogs for protective purposes are popular too. Lastly, we offer residential training options so out of area dog owners don’t need to make multiple journeys to our specialist canine training facility in Essex. Round the clock training and support can be vital in dealing with ingrained and severe behavioural issues in dogs. This is particularly true if you are asking, ‘Who can train an aggressive dog?”. Minimum 3 weeks £750per week
DOG TRAINING
If you need someone to regularly look after your dog while you are out at work – or just occasional dog sitting services nearby – there are good reasons to choose Little Doggy Daycare, a service provided by the highly respected GD Dog Trainer.
The benefits of choosing us for daytime dog care are explained below. However, one of the most reassuring advantages is that we keep smaller dog breeds together, and help them gain new social skills.
Every dog – no matter how small it is – deserves a big day out. As well as some well-supervised, 100% safe fun with new friends.
Contact us to discuss your individual local dog daycare needs. We would be happy to provide you with an opportunity to visit our Chelmsford dog training and daycare facilities too. For added peace of mind that your smaller breed of dog is going to be well looked after.
PUPPY TRAINING
Getting a new puppy is an exciting and lovely time, but it also brings a lot of challenges!
Especially when it comes to house-training puppies, teaching them not to chew things and developing obedience on their lead and recall, for example.
This can mean a huge time investment. Not easy if have a job or family commitments that drag the whole process out – or a puppy with a lively character who doesn’t respond to your efforts.
Fortunately, there is a specialist puppy training service in Essex, to make your life much easier!
It’s important that you start the basic training with your puppy as young as possible, normally you’ll get a puppy from 8 weeks old.
Your puppy can then start their training outside after they receive their vaccinations OR training can begin from within your home from day 1 of collection! Home visits £160 plus travel 1-2-1 at our facilities £65
PROTECTION DOG TRAINING
Can my dog be a protection dog?
As mentioned, protection dogs require an elite level of training, but they must first be able to carry out a number of tests regarding their drive, their temperament and more – in order to proceed to their journey of becoming a protection dog.
In many cases, dogs do not have what it takes to be a protection dog, but I can work closely with your dog to assess them across a number of categories, with a view to step into the protection dog world.
While it may be disappointing to find out your dog does not have what it takes for the protection dog world, it is vital to know this before sending them straight off to be trained as one, as this will only lead to further and greater disappointment.
